There is often a hunger to know more information about your Tesla order and how it is progressing. This simple utility takes your Tesla token (which we can help you generate) and queries Tesla and returns the raw JSON data at both your Tesla account, and at the individual reservation level. The amount of data available has been reduced heavily by Tesla in recent months, but some 3rd parties such as the Boring App will still claim that can provide data that is no longer available, and even seek payment from you. We would suggest you think carefully about using these apps and 3rd parties as at best they give you false hope. and at worst they've making false promises to gain access to your Tesla account. We include details of the information available, and alternate ways to get useful information further down.

This and other tools such as the Boring App, all tap into 2 different Tesla APIs using your Tesla credentials. We always include health warnings about using 3rd party tools and in this case, the primary concern is the lack of useful order tracking data which has shrunk massively, and the amount of personal data given up. We also feel some 3rd parties are not being honest about the amount, or lack of, information available. The actual data does depend on how the car is being acquired, whether you have finance or a part exchange, and where you are in the delivery process, but very little now relates to the progress of the car. We cover the actual details below, and if you still wish to access data, you can ether take out a token with us and if you provide an email address we'll notify you of changes to your car order, or you can use this tool where we will provide the response from the two APIs in their entity for you so you can decide for yourself how much of the information is useful.

Log into your Tesla account via a web browser, and then click on this link which is provided by Tesla and has no 3rd party involvement: https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/oxp-bff-api/user-orders. A combination of the Tesla app and using this link when hungry for more information, will give you all that is known about your new cars progress.

There used to be a lot more information available including when the car was due at the delivery center, the registration number, the vin, etc, but NONE of this is now available, the only useful information in the second API is related to the delivery window and date, the rest is extensive personal information.
