The i3 is full of clever engineering details that make it quietly fascinating. It uses a carbon fibre reinforced plastic passenger cell mounted to an aluminium chassis, which keeps weight low and rigidity high in a way few cars at any price attempt. The rear wheel drive layout and strong regenerative braking give it a very distinctive driving feel, while the rear hinged doors, narrow low rolling resistance tyres, and upright glasshouse were all designed around efficiency and urban usability rather than convention. It is a genuinely different piece of bmw engineering rather than just a conventional car made electric. The car has been very well cared for and drives perfectly. It features the desirable suite interior, which gives the cabin a noticeably more refined feel than standard specifications. The suite interior includes full leather seats and dark eucalyptus wood dashboard trim, combined with the i3's light and modern cabin design. It feels calm, contemporary, and genuinely premium. The car had one previous owner before me and is supplied with the original three bmw i3 keys - a feature nicely unique to this model. Condition very clean, near perfect interior bodywork in equally good order wheels and tyres in good condition one reversing bulb currently out - inexpensive and easy fix, just not got round to it the car has clearly been looked after properly and presents very well both inside and out.
